Miranda Morrow
Nurse Practitioner | Communications Strategist | Environmental Advocate | Energy Policy Enthusiast
Miranda Morrow’s life story is a testament to resilience, reinvention, and purpose. Raised between the vibrant cultural rhythms of New Orleans, Louisiana, and the rugged coastal beauty of Byron Bay, Australia, Miranda developed a deep appreciation for both people and the planet from an early age. Her childhood was split between the bustling streets of New Orleans’ French Quarter and Queensland's open beaches and eucalyptus forests, fostering in her a dual love for community engagement and environmental preservation.
Miranda graduated with honors from The University of Queensland, earning a Bachelor’s degree in Communications with a focus on public health messaging and behavioral psychology. Her early career was defined by high-impact roles in strategic communications, including campaigns aimed at reducing urban pollution and promoting sustainability across Australia’s coastal cities. Her volunteer work with the Australian Conservation Foundation and Clean Up Australia earned her early recognition as a grassroots organizer with a gift for mobilizing people through clear, compelling messaging.
After returning to the United States, Miranda married Josh Brown, a U.S. Marine Corps sergeant. Their bond was forged through service and shared ideals—discipline, duty, and devotion to country. Tragically, Josh died from an illness after an overseas deployment, leaving Miranda a young widow and expectant mother. Channeling grief into strength, Miranda pivoted her life to focus on family and service to others.
Determined to create a stable and purposeful future, she returned to school and earned her Master of Science in Nursing. Today, she is a board-certified Nurse Practitioner, providing holistic care with a special emphasis on women’s health, trauma-informed medicine, and community-based wellness. Her bedside manner is as commanding as it is compassionate—a trait no doubt shaped by years spent in hospital wards, fitness centers, and front-line environmental efforts.
Before motherhood, Miranda was a competitive bodybuilder and fitness model, winning multiple regional titles and appearing in industry publications for her strength, grace, and discipline. Though she’s traded stages for stethoscopes, she remains a committed athlete and wellness advocate, often mentoring young women on health, confidence, and resilience.
Miranda is also a savvy real estate investor, owning a portfolio of income-producing properties in Florida and Ohio. She currently resides in Vero Beach, FL, where she lives with her two children and a motley crew of beloved animals—three rescue pit bulls, two cats, and an unusually affectionate rescue skunk named Stinky. She also maintains a second home in Aurora, Ohio, where she escapes for peaceful summers and regional policy events.
Lately, Miranda has developed a keen intellectual interest in the mechanics of the energy grid, power resilience, and sustainable energy production. She attends forums, reads engineering reports for leisure, and volunteers as a communications liaison between technical professionals and the general public, helping bridge the gap between science and society.
Miranda Morrow lives by one unshakable belief: that power—whether physical, emotional, or electrical—must be both responsibly cultivated and fearlessly wielded. Whether she’s treating patients, advocating for smarter energy policy, or wrangling a household of kids and animals, Miranda leads with intellect, integrity, and an indomitable spirit.

Miranda has experience talking to our active duty military and politicians from Columbus, to Tallahassee, to Washington D.C. on a variety of issues.
